Who we are
Lease to Buy SA is a brand of Nine Stones Capital (Pty) Ltd, registration 2012/084151/07 (“we”). We are the responsible party for the personal information you give us through this website, under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
What we collect
When you apply, we collect your name, mobile number, email address, the income, savings and price ranges you choose, the area you want to live in, your move date, any message you write, and the calculator settings you used. We also record which link or advert brought you to the site.
Why we collect it
Only to assess your application, contact you about it, and help you find and lease a home. We don't sell your information.
Who we share it with
Our customer database and email provider (Brevo), the conveyancing attorney who draws up your agreements if you go ahead, and, with your permission, a bond originator or bank you choose to apply to.
Analytics and adverts
We use privacy-friendly page analytics from our hosting provider (Vercel), which doesn't use cookies to identify you. If you arrive from one of our Facebook or Instagram adverts, Meta's pixel may record that you visited and whether you applied, so we can measure which adverts work. You can control this in your Facebook ad settings and your browser.
Your rights
You may ask to see, correct or delete your information, or object to us using it, at any time. Email info@leasetobuysa.co.za. If you're unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa).
